Q&A

1. What connectors does this cable have?
It has an RJ45 male connector at each end for standard Ethernet network ports.

2. What speed does it support?
This model is specified for up to 1000Mbps, equivalent to 1Gbps. Compatible Gigabit network equipment is required to reach that link speed.

3. Will it increase my internet package speed?
No. Your internet speed remains limited by your service plan, router and connected device. A cable cannot upgrade those limits.

4. Can I use it with a gaming console?
Yes, with a PlayStation, Xbox or other console that has an RJ45 Ethernet port. Connect it to a LAN port on your router or network switch.

5. Will it work with my laptop?
Yes, if your laptop has an Ethernet port. Otherwise, you need a compatible USB or USB-C Ethernet adapter, sold separately.

6. Is it compatible with 100Mbps equipment?
Yes. It supports connections using 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet equipment. The connection operates at the speed supported by both ends.

7. Does it need drivers or power?
The cable itself requires neither. Plug both ends into compatible Ethernet ports and select the wired connection in your device settings if necessary.

8. Is this cable shielded or braided?
It is U/UTP, meaning unshielded twisted pair. Its exterior is a smooth round PVC jacket, not a fabric braid.

9. Is the conductor pure copper?
No. The NW102/20161 specification lists 26AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors. The connector contacts are gold-plated.
